Newtek continues to work around the clock to get your file in position for a PPP loan under the CARES Act. As you know, today was the first day for second round PPP submissions and E-Tran number requests; however, due to the overwhelming response from all Lenders, the SBA’s system was extremely slow and unresponsive for most of the day. Again, Newtek is working to obtain a guarantee number to continue the process of obtaining a PPP loan; however, we appreciate your patience while we wait for the government’s response to millions of applicants during these unprecedented times.
