Dear PPP Applicant,

Today, April 27th, was the first day for lenders to submit loan files to the SBA for the next round of government funding under the "Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act."   With approximately 4,000 lenders submitting data to the SBA, computer processing systems were slowed down resulting in suboptimal lender response rates.  Currently, Newtek is seeking thousands of E-Tran numbers among many other lenders that are likely submitting millions of applications. Newtek is working towards obtaining a guarantee number to continue the process of obtaining a PPP loan.
