PCI Compliance Update

Hello Newtek Payments Partners,

Please be advised that the message below will be sent to all Newtek Payments merchants on their January month end statement regarding PCI DSS compliance. As we continue to invest in client security and service, we are increasing monthly fees for non-compliance by $10 beginning in March 2023.

January 2023 Month End Statement Message
All customers are required to validate their Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance. Fees for noncompliance are applied to customer accounts monthly that do not validate PCI DSS compliance within the first 90 days after their account is approved for payment processing. Additionally, noncompliance fees are applied to customer accounts that do not maintain their PCI DSS compliant status. Newtek, along with our PCI partner SecureTrust, are available to assist with guiding customers through the steps required to become and maintain PCI DSS compliance status by calling our customer Service team at 1-800-277-6980 Option 3. All customers are required to complete a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) annually and (if applicable to the processing method) complete vulnerability scanning quarterly. The monthly noncompliance fee billed to accounts will be increased by $10.00 starting with the month of March 2023.
